By default Windows 10 gathers information related to contacts, location, calendar and input (text and touch). The process for opting out of all data collection efforts is both time consuming and requires a reasonable amount of technical know-how.

From Holo Deck@ssf: Collects your data. On a fresh install all collection services are enabled by default but there is also another issue that I had this on about 5 Microsoft Accounts(You know that Account that is needed to use the most Windows 10 features, like sync etc.), I created them and they worked for 1-5 Days after that time they get looked and Microsoft wants my Phone Number to send me a SMS code. Also it must be frustrating if you dont own a cell phone since there is no other way to unlock your account.
