More Info: When recruiting for new employees it's good to get an idea of how skilled they are at reasoning / logic, without requiring them to necessarily have a particular development language (i.e. so as not to constrain your potential source of employees to those with prior knowledge of a niche area; whilst ensuring they have the mind to pick up that skill). Aptitude tests give a good way to baseline people's abilities whilst remaining reasonably generic.
