You're right, seems like there was a mix-up in another Linux question. Thanks for the heads-up, I'll go ahead and flag this one. I've also added the correct Mint in. :)

Hey Wolf, thanks for asking this question! Personally, I have great experiences with Elementary, Ubuntu and Mint - I've tested these on an older system with an Atom processor and 1 GB of memory, but they still managed to run fluently. The other options in this question should be able to handle an older PC as well.
