I thought wiping doesn't really work for SSDs.

Also, I'm a little leery when an application for the mac uses IE as it's icon for a web browser for a Mac product in its promotional materials. (I'm not a fan of Safari, but IE on a Mac is not a common sight),

I'm a bit wary of this product after looking it through.

The most reliable way to wipe an SSD is through the ATA Secure Erase command (which most modern SSDs have), or just relying on TRIM to clean it up after telling it what data to discard. Traditional wiping methods for HDDs can be detrimental to the SSD's lifespan because of limited write cycles, and this product doesn't seem to specify how they wipe an SSD anywhere. Assuming they do the same thing for SSDs, I'd be really careful with this.

That's why I use Disk Sensei (trim functionality). I guess I might as well add it as an option. I'd be curious to know what software out there for the Mac does use the ATA Secure Erase command.
