What are the best uses for microservices?

Hey, I'm afraid this question does not fit Slant's style of asking questions. Since Slant is about comparing different options with each other, questions asked here need to be able to be answered by several (usually more than two) different options. Unfortunately, this question is not of that kind. However, if you think it can be changed to fit Slant ("What are the best uses for microservices" for example), then I'll be happy to unflag this question.
