Very slow - launching apps takes more time than other distros - it is a very resource heavy system.
On the other hand - booting and shutting down is very fast on SSD.

Weird... It's pretty fast on my computer. At faster than Ubuntu. On Ubuntu, it takes about 10-15 seconds to launch chrome.In Deepin, it takes about 3 seconds to launch chrome! And the same goes for other programs... By the way, my computer isn't very powerful either.
Well, Deepin used to be quite slow. I agree with that. However, it is now changing. It is no longer slow.
