Pro Great combination of price, size, and airflow
The Vornado 630 is an objectively very powerful fan. What makes it stand out even more that it's quite small and inexpensive. It's a compact air circulator that compares and often outmatches tall tower fans and unstable oscillating fans in terms of airflow and also costs less.
Pro You can use it in a large room
You can put this fan in a large room and it will easily recirculate the air. Unlike many rotating fans that produce a fairly weak air stream and rely on oscillation to cover more area, the Vornado 630 creates a strong yet smooth stream that pushes the air around the whole room.
Cons
Con It's noisier than other fans
The Vornado 630 makes about 60 dB of noise on the highest speed setting, which is comparable with a full-on AC. It is not the loudest fan out there by far, but if you want a fan that you could leave on while you're sleeping, it would probably be a good idea to look specifically for fans that produce around 50 dB of noise.
Con It's a little bit basic
Although the fan is great by itself, it does lack some more convenient features that a lot of alternatives in this price range have. For example, it doesn't come with a remote, or an auto turn-off timer.
