The Galaxy Note 5 is Samsung's large high-end phone from 2015. Like the Galaxy S6 before it, it uses Samsung's new glass and metal build. Unfortunately, this means that it doesn't have a SD card slot or removable battery. The S-pen paired with multi-window mode makes this the most productive phone around.
Note: this is a device from last generation. However, as Samsung canceled this year's Note phone, it could still be considered a top option - and is by far the best stylus-enabled phone available to this day
Specs
Pros
Pro Good performance
The Exynos 7420 is a powerful processor, as dhown by the following benchmarks; AnTuTu scored 56852, AndroBench 3 scored 385.39 MB/s for sequential read, and in Epic Citadel it averaged 48.2 fps on ultra high quality. These scores place it at the very top of the processing charts, and very high (but not leading) the gaming scores.
Pro Solid battery life
The Note 5 has really good battery life, and will last even heavy users a full day. In the odd scenario where you do need to charge it quickly, you can as it supports QuickCharge.
The Note 5 only drops 14% battery when playing a 90 minute looped video, and GSMArena rates the battery at 85h which is a solid score (for reference, 60h is considered around average).
Pro Multi-window support
Tap and hold the recent apps button to enter multi-window mode. This allows you to have two apps running on the phone at once (similar to Windows' snap-to-the-edges feature). Only specific apps are supported, but Samsung has a decent variety.
You can also minimize apps into a little bubble. Again, only certain apps are supported but Chrome and the calculator are two examples.
