Pros
Pro Great feeling of progression
The creators could have just had you continue to solve puzzles in an effort to reach the end and somehow stop the alien craft. However, as you progress from stage to stage, the environment around begins to show signs of damage and even starts to fall apart. Eventually the environment is so damaged that the puzzles incorporate dealing with the damaged environment to solve puzzles. It makes you feel like your efforts to solve the puzzles actually have an effect instead of just waiting for a big finale at the end of it all.
Cons
Con The physics sometimes feel off
There were a few puzzles where the physics feel a bit unbelievable, which is really noticeable during puzzles that involve navigating a rolling ball through an obstacle course. The ball will hit a pillar, and it should have stop there based on actual physics, but the ball will then slowly roll to the side before continuing down on the path. This can feel really sloppy to some players since Q.U.B.E is primarily a physics-based puzzle game.
Con Weak story
There really isn't much of a story to Q.U.B.E. Your are an astronaut that somehow ended up on an alien spacecraft headed towards Earth and it is up to you to solve the puzzles to stop the ship and save Earth. There is some dialogue where someone from the International Space Station talks to you and late on some guy who is convinced everything is a simulation, but it feels like the game would be fine without that extra dialogue.
