Pro Portable IDEs and deployment options.
Some Smalltalk IDEs, such as VisualWorks, Pharo, IBM VisualAge (now known as Instatiations VA Smalltalk) enable you to save your IDE state (browsers, inspectors, debuggers) on one OS, say Windows, and continue editing on Linux or Mac with the same IDE state. (VA Smalltalk doesn't have a Mac version).

I've checkout other languages and IDEs. Since the 90's, I've use Smalltalk to build sophisticated web apps and desktop apps for industries including medical, banking, ecommerce and sports administration.
