Raghu Ranganathan's Experience
Although it is a paid app, mathCha is very easy to use, and makes it simpler to modify equations and mathematical conjectures. It's really simple and has a very comprehensive autocomplete that is as reliable as Microsoft's intellisense. I love using this.

Relatively easy for beginners coming to LaTex
Their rich and easy-to-navigate documentation allows for easy understanding of both Overleaf and LaTex even if you're completely new to the latter.
