Strong Typing and range checking in run time. Wouldn't let you down in terms of mistakes made related to input overflows or data type mismatch mistakes.

Other languages have informatics giants behind them developing the languages and improving upon an already complete tool set. Pascal is dead.

Pascal has been around for long enough for all of its feature set to have been copied, improved, everywhere else.
Con Outdated tooling
Like back to DOS days. best language is not enough to be a best multipurpose tool.
Con Top Notch Pascal is Ada and even that is a niche only language these days
Ada for Avionics is still a thing, for a few. that's a very narrow niche. Pascal is not used today to be even considered multipurpose which should involve collaboration.
