With the app, you have the option to specify the monitoring area. For instance, if you only want to monitor the baby's crib, any movement that takes place outside of the crib's vicinity will not be visible. This is due to the fact that the image may appear blurred. The picture quality is good. as they say it's a 2k so their honest. The mounting kit provided is sturdy and durable. I have zero worries of the camera or bracket falling. The camera assembly and setup was easy and complete in 5 minutes. I really liked that it came with a SD card so you can save some images. The app you need to use worked for both android and iPhone. The controls they give you are awesome. Move the camera however you want with your phone or allow the motion detection camera center the action for you. Turn on the music for the kid.
