"The Evercade EXP is an interesting approach to the world of retro gaming, and as a sucker for novelty, I'm pretty taken by it. That being said, it does have some weird missing features I would have liked to have seen that could have put it into the realm of greatness. No Bluetooth, a good but not great battery, and lack of an easy way to put it to sleep without shutting it down entirely did irk me somewhat, but not so much I wouldn't recommend it. It's just a neat little device, and I love not only its beautiful screen, but the way it distributes its games on chunky little carts. Having some of my all-time favorite Capcom games built in definitely helps a lot, and I hope the selection of games continues to grow (give me all the RPGs please)" according to IGN review in 2022.
