I am a long time Adobe Acrobat user with both Windows and Mac. Now I have switched over to Linux Mint and needed a reliable alternative to Adobe Acrobat. Well PDF Studio fits all of my needs very well and for the price you pay for two licenses is a fraction of the cost Adobe Acrobat charges me each year. They have a free trial so you have nothing to lose. After using PDF Studio Professional after a little while I have really come to prefer it over Adobe Acrobat. See More
Kenny Locksmith's Experience
I had been trying to find a PDF editor, in Linux that would edit scanned documents. I can tell you that it is not easy. I was amazed at this software PDF Studio Pro. It does not only edit scanned documents but a whole range of edits including creating PDF's. Brilliant, fantastic software and on Linux, what more do you want. Oh, and in Windows. See More
My experience has been great. Yes it is expensive, but I scan and send a lot of PDFs. This is by far the easiest way to scan PDFs on Linux that I have found. When I have used other PDF scanning software I sometimes found that I could open and read the PDF files, but those I sent them to could not. If you do not need to scan PDFs frequently this is probably not worth it, personally I have gotten more than enough use out of the software to justify the price. See More
