My experience with FreeFileSync is absolutely the best! I have a slow Mac that can download 500KB to 20MB during it's best times. FreeFileSync almost always makes sure its about the average. Its fast, and it backed up my whole home folder (10.9GB) in 17 minutes and 28 seconds! It also features some useful things like checking what is the largest file/folder on your sync, an error log, and features 4 modes for backup/syncing, just to name a few.
