Topgrade isn't a package manager in the same way as most of the other package managers on this list. But it's just as useful, far lower profile and arguably just as important for maintaining software security and verification..
Topgrade keeps your software updated to the latest version across a huge variety of software sources, with more added all the time. As of today, it was 20 Linux distributions, 10 operating systems, 14 platforms, and all of the major programming language libraries*, repositories and sources.
What was for me, if I'm honest, a mess of corn jobs, update scripts and manual decisions about breaking changes...is now simple to use, easily configurable, mostly automatic and as simple to run as one command.
$ topgrade
Hours of boring stuff saved, and a bunch of zero day crap stress avoided. Who could ask more?.
Enjoy. I don't know how I lived without it.
