The app allows inserting files from Drive straight to email or uploading attachments to Drive before sending them out. It will also notify if the person you're sending the file can open the file our should you change the sharing settings for that file beforehand. The application follows Material Design guidelines with bright, flat colors. It consists of three main views - the main view display recent messages grouped by conversations, the message view that show's threaded messages and a hamburger menu that can be accessed with a swipe from the left side or by clicking the hamburger button at the top of the main view allows switching between various folders and accounts. The app stores user information and credentials on outside servers which is a violation of ActiveSync password requirement policies. Microsoft Outlook comes with quick swipe features where users can quickly swipe the thread either from left (to schedule) or right (to delete or archive). Additionally, users can also customize the swipe actions to, for example, set swipe from left to archive or swipe from right to delete. See More

As the app uses a third party server to connect to the exchange server, the exchange server must be publically available in the internet and the login in the app will just fail without an error message when the exchange server is behind a firewall (e.g. VPN or for internal test setups). See More

With a quick selection you can turn an email into a new task, add it to a project or create a waiting for item. The email is moved from your inbox but available in the task or project.
