Specs
Pros
Pro Integrates useful utilities, protocols, viewers and editors
Path Finder can be configured to automatically open and edit word documents, text, and image files. It also has an integrated terminal, hex editor, can archive type files, and can handle file network protocols, such as ftp and afp.
Cons
Con Inconvenient "go back" and "go forward" buttons
Just so there's at least one con: Path Finder has a single pair of "go back" and "go forward" buttons in the top left corner, even in two-pane mode. The buttons act on whichever pane is active -- which really, really often isn't the one user may think it is.
The only thing better about TotalFinder over Path Finder was having a separate pair of buttons for each pane.
Con Buggy
- Heavy load on the system after network drive activity
- Crashes sometimes without warning
