The Asana task workflow within a project is broken down into "Today," "Upcoming," and "Later." The tasks themselves have the status of either done or not done. There is also a subtask feature to group tasks together. Tasks can be assigned to other team members and are stored in the "Inbox" view for processing. This replaces email for some team communication. See More
Teams can have private (only visible to project members) and public (visible to anyone in the team) projects. Each member can also have their own personal projects. Tasks can be viewed in list and calendar views. It's possible to display only the tasks assigned to the user or tasks organized by project or team. Single tasks can exist in multiple projects. Lists of tasks can be divided into sections and organized in many different ways – tasks that still have to be done, tasks that have been completed, by due date, by assignee, by popularity, etc. Expanding a task will allow adding things like subtasks, tags, and attachments, as well as comments. Users can also subscribe to a task via RSS from this view. There's a separate view specifically for attachments. Search lets you find what you’re looking for quickly. See More

Thanks to the visualization of work, it's much easier to see the progress of work. Boosts the confidence in what you endeavour upon and reassures each step of the process. The customization allows to fit a system right to the process you've planned, so that we don't have to match our work to an external way, but build our own. See More
No matter how big a team you work in, kanban tool fits nicely. Thanks to the ability to customize the boards, it's easy to match a board to the size of the process. The kanban tool has been growing with our process for the past 3 years, we started with 3 people and 2 boards, now we have 24 employees and 16 main boards with several process steps each and the system works just as well. Todoist's web and desktop interfaces have a 2-column layout. The right column has all tasks organized in nested lists with color codes and information such as what people are assigned to each task and which project the task is part of. The left column offers ways of accessing various groups of tasks – tasks that have to be completed within a certain timeframe, tasks that are a part of a certain project or have certain labels attached to them, etc. The left column also contains filters that allow even more advanced ways of finding a group of tasks. The mobile interface follows a similar design philosophy, but gives each column a separate view. See More
Tasks are grouped in task lists and can have subtasks. Each task list can be assigned to a particular set of users, aligned with a milestone and have notes. Each task in the task list can have a description, a start and a due date, attachments, priority, manually set progress, followers, dependencies, be assigned to a particular set of users and set to repeat. Each subtask has the same configurable properties except instead of the ability to assign people, subtasks can be commented on. See More
Microsoft acquired Wunderlist in 2015, and therefore its future is uncertain. It's unlikely Wunderlist will continue to be an (1) independent product with (2) a free version and (3) continue to develop and innovate at a reasonable pace. More likely, Microsoft will at least monetize Wunderlist the way it monetizes its other products. It's also likely that Microsoft will integrate it into its suite of office products and even its Windows operating systems. To see what this is like search the Web for "Microsoft OneNote Mac OS X," and you will find a host of "standard" features only available in the Windows version, "official" documentation and tutorials that presume you have the Windows version (but never say so), etc. One would also expect versions running on Linux to be worse or nonexistent. Also, Microsoft software in general tends to be bloated with marketable features but little concern for efficiency regarding memory usage, processing efficiency, or unobtrusive updates. See More
Wunderlist features the standard ability to add tasks and organize them within lists, but one aspect in which it excels is the amount of detail you can add to each task. Rather than simple alerts, tasks incorporate a number of other options, including reminders, subtasks, notes, and recurring tasks. You can also star important tasks, which is simpler than the priority systems used in many other apps. See More
Wunderlist comes with 20 free wallpapers and 10 paid wallpapers for users to customize the background image in the Wunderlist app. In addition, advanced users can also use their own image as background image with few tweaks, which is absent in main Wunderlist app. See More
If you're on the run or away from your device, you can add items to your list by email. You can also add notes to the list item using the body of the message. Wunderlist supports Google Now, meaning you can add to your list using native voice commands on Android. See More
Organize the tasks of your project in hierarchy. Every task can be viewed as a card (with a description, subtasks, comments...) or as a board (with all its subtasks displayed in a kanban board). This makes it easy to break down a project in multiple levels, and to navigate to the parent or descendants of a tasks. See More
There is no way to interact with tasks in any way - new tasks can't be added, completed tasks can't be removed, tasks can't be assigned, etc. The integration only sends updates to the Slack channel. There is also no way to fine-tune what updates get posted to Slack. See More
