Mixer is a PBR creation suite that uses brushes and non-destructive layering to generate all types of maps.
It's free, but unless you have your own library of maps, alphas, and brushes, you'll need a subscription to Quixel's Megascans archive.

It's easy to learn and can create some impressive results. All of the issues I had that turned me off from Materialize (maps are derivative of one another, map generation can't discern more than two colors) are wiped out in Mixer.
