Pros
Pro Personas allow separation of concerns
Personas break up the workflow of the application allowing you to focus on specific tasks. At a high level the interface is organized into broad groups of tools called Personas, like Photo for in-depth image manipulation, Liquify for warping the image, Develop for basic RAW photo development and Export for exporting. Each persona displays only those tools that are needed for that task.
Cons
Con No Linux version
There is no Linux version available, even though today Serif could distribute their software via Snap or Flatpak.
Con Can not import gimp or krita files
Free alternatives like GIMP (and Krita) are sort of "go to" apps you can always install and use for simple image editing or graphics on any computer. Affinity's support for Photoshop is great, but having support also for opening and editing GIMP and Krita files would make the versatility and use of this program absolutely superb.
Con No Preview for Export Function
When exporting graphics for the web there is no chance to get a preview. The only thing you can do is export multiple formats and compressions and compare the results afterwards. People have been asking for this basic feature for four years now, but the developers have other priorities.

Pro one of the best alternative
I think this and PhotoLine are the best alternative: no need to be loged/create account to work with, no bloatware, no spam, and no Adobe tracking nightmare...
