The graphics card uses roughly 190W of power, which is very little for such a powerful graphics card. This means that in the long run, you save on your power bill slightly, and you may be able to get by with a cheaper PSU (power supply unit) saving additional cash.

The GTX 1080 is the new high-end graphics card and outperforms the GTX 980 Ti in every facet, and are even faster than this faster edition by Palit. The performance improvement is 20%, on average. Graphics cards with the GTX 1080 chip will also be available for a lower price of $620 and up.
