Pros
Pro Amazing battery life
The 4100mAh battery is one of the largest found in any phone, and provides plenty of use time time between chargers. It can last 13 hours with continuous web surfing, and under an unrealistic stress test the battery still lasted 5 hours. Expect at least 5 hours of Pokémon GO time with the Redmi Note 3
Cons
Con Mediocre GPS signal
The Redmi Note 3 uses a budget GPS chip, and is fairly inaccurate. It cuts the corners off turns, which means slightly less distance counted towards egg hatching. Also, it is slight less accurate making it even more frustrating to find that elusive Pokémon, and takes longer to establish a signal.
Con Gets hot with extended use
The maximum temperature reached was 43.6C (110F) which is uncomfortably warm. Pokémon GO runs warm on many phones (outdoor sunlight warms the phone up, plus the screen brightness will be high and the GPS and data connections are constantly running as well).

Con Buttons aren't backlit, making it hard to find them in the dark
While most of your hunting will be done during the day, you may want to go out at night to find more ghost pokémon. The phone's physical back, home, and multitasking buttons aren't backlit which makes it harder to see them at night.
