Pros
Pro There are multiple choices for the install media so you get the slimness you need
There are 3 types of install:
- Full-featured
- Minimal with options to manually install packages, grouped by usage categories
- Custom ISO that you can build yourself based on your needs.
With a minimal install, you get a pretty polished system out of the box with the desktop environment of your choice. It's still a little bit bloated, but you can strip out unneeded software after install. What you get is a solid Arch install with extra convenience layers on top.
