Pillars of Eternity is a crowd funded RPG for PC that was developed by Obsidian Entertainment. It has three different digital retail packages on offer, Hero Edition ($44.99), Champion Edition ($59.99) and Royal Edition ($89.99). Pillars of Eternity takes place in a D&D like fantasy world called Dyrwood. In this setting the player has a main objective of figuring out why the world is cursed with babies being born without souls. Along the way the player will take on the company of many other in game adventurers ranging from wizards, dwarves, and many other races and classes who will partake in their own quests as well as in the main one.

The game can be paused at any time, which allows for one to contemplate their next move in the game. This makes for a less stressful experience since one can leisurely make their decisions without it impacting the gameplay.
Pro iOS version includes extra content over the PC version
The PC version of the game had extra DLC that one could pay for to extend the games gameplay. This content is included in the iOS version for the singular price of $9.99. So could be argued the iOS version is the better deal for the price.
FTL is an indie space sim roguelike. The gameplay consists of a top down space simulation where the player must control the crew of the craft as well as all of the resources needed to run it. Much like a roguelike game the world is randomly generated in eight different sectors of space. The goal for the player is to make it through these sectors without dying as there are enemies that will be attacking.
Pro Massive online multiplayer
Crusader Kings II has a whopping 32 player online multiplayer mode. Something not often found in games of this sort which can make for a very intense and strategic gameplay session.
Con Extremely complicated
Crusader King II is a very complicated game that seems overly complex at first and may take a while to really learn as there are quite a lot of things to not only balance in the game but also figure out how to do either through in game tutorials or reading online.
Pro Freedom to play how you like
The game allows for one to make their own choices with there being many "win" conditions in that you can choose to progress how you like. Want to take over all of Europe, that is possible, want to create a successful lineage of family that keeps to themselves, this is also possible.

For those interested there is a mod that improves historical accuracy called the Historical Plausibility Project. This mod features many improvements to the game such as complex politics that were not originally in the default game.
Con Difficult to get into
The game is really difficult to learn all the mechanics of and how to control, like most Paradox games. For those that like this difficulty there is a lot to like but for the most part it only appeals to the die hard fanatics.
