There is an ability called Swoop in the game that allows the main character to dash 15 feet ahead of where they are currently located, this gives a sens of power and really makes on feel as if they are a ninja. One of the best mechanics in the game, which makes the game a lot more enjoyable. See More
It is disliked more than it deserves. I think it's because one expects it to be similar to the rest of the series. Instead, it does its own thing, which is a sort of zen-like methodical game flow. You can stop thinking and just act, like in a race, dance, multiplayer shooter match or Dark Souls boss battle. But, unlike these examples, the flow is much more relaxed. See More
