It is very slow. Sometimes you have to wait seconds for typed characters to be displayed. Clicking on the editing field often does not allow you to write anything (even though you can see that the cursor is placed). Overall extremely slow to an extent that I had to stop using it. I upgraded through several new versions but the problems remained more or less (the slowness in some part of the app improved but new slowness in other parts appeared). I get the feeling that it has something to do with the sync since the application also often thinks that it is offline (and freezes) even though the computer is online. If it wasn't for being extremely slow this could have been a good application. See More

I have tried cacher for an year plan. It is very elegant and does have a good extensions. I really love their desktop app. Pricing is not affordable for me as I have choose for my personal use. VScode snippet placeholders are really a good feature. Cons: The real use of a snippet manager is to organize your snippets in a better way. Cacher has labels and child labels which does that job better but once you plan to leave Cacher then you are doomed. you can't carry those labels and there is absolutely no way to do that. All of my snippet organization went in vain. I was fully depend on the labels and they did not saved those labels in the file name (like Lepton). Once you try to open your github gist you can't map your snippets with keywords. See More
