Thevindu Kumarage's Experience
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a titan when it comes to storytelling. The depth of the story is astounding; you begin by following the Elric brothers, 2 alchemists who are on a quest to find the Philosopher's Stone in order to use it to restore their bodies to their natural states. However, as they unravel the mysteries associated with the stone, they uncover something that threatens the security of their country, Amestris, and the rest of the world with it. While the feel of the anime is dark and ominous, there's plenty of humor to break it up, great fight scenes to watch, and a myriad of interesting characters to follow. Overall, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a superbly entertaining show. See More
From the beginning, this anime has been extremely interesting and it feels like something unique. At first, there was a lot of heat about this show being a rip-off of other anime series like My Hero Academia, and even Fairy Tail, and I admit, they weren't far off, but I gave it a shot anyway. I must say that the producers of the show really did a good job with the story and even the opening themes are just unique. See More
Dragon Ball Kai features some really great character development. While Goku, the main character, doesn't get much development, you also have characters like Vegeta. Vegeta goes from super villain, to begrudging ally, and beyond through the duration of the story. There are also characters like Gohan, Goku's son, who goes from a peace-loving scholar to arguably the strongest hero in the universe. Dragon Ball Kai is often underestimated in the story department, but it's really quite rich and overall incredibly entertaining. See More
Dragon Ball Kai is a remastered version of Dragon Ball Z. The fact that they cut a lot of filler out was really great - it lead to more action, and an overall smoother flow for the show. However, some of the filler that was cut was really incredible, and people that are watching Dragon Ball Kai as their first experience will miss out on some classic scenes. See More
Dragon Ball Kai is a remastered version of Dragon Ball Z, and it's taken significant amount of useless content out. This makes Kai much more fast paced, which also means there's less time between fights. Dragon Ball Kai is jam-packed full of fight scenes. You follow the "Z-Warriors," a group of people presented with the dubious task of protecting the earth, and there are certainly a lot of threats, each more powerful than the next. See More
