Pros
Pro YAST is a great administrative tool
Yast is very user friendly in GUI mode since it sorts settings into categories. It has a wide range of settings for you to modify your system with. YAST2 is also great for systems/networking admins since it has a lot of networking capabilities.

Cons
Con Installer sometimes fails and gives you a complicated blue rescue GUI.
When the Installer doesn't load it welcomes you with this blue rescue GUI that has a similar interface to sls linux, which is what OpenSUSE is based on. It is very hard for new users and non-tech people to navigate or understand.
