There is no limitation to use it

Video players often have video speed controllers by default, but they have 3-5 options like 0.5x, 1,5x, 2x. Video Speed Controller lets you change the playback speed in very small increments.

You can change the keyboard shortcuts, aswell as the increment values by which the playback speed is increased/decreased at a time.
