Evernote had their entire database hacked and compromised including customer user passwords. They responded by locking valid users out of accounts and forcing password changes but are still vague about their own security policies. They do not have a good track record for data security. They also do not offer local personal encryption of entire Notebooks as Microsoft OneNote does. See More
With one click you can clip part or all of any webpage, including text, images, and links. Especially for those who use Google Chrome, this web clipper is a very rich add-on. The “simplified article” mode strips all graphical overhead from the page before adding the information to Evernote. It's also possible to add highlighting, tags, etc. before storing the note. OneNote is designed to allow hierarchical organization of information. This is achieved with grouping into the following categories and UI elements (Notebooks, Sections, and Pages). Both Sections and Pages allow additional groupings that can be expanded / collapsed in list view. This can be incredibly helpful for quickly taking notes and organizing them for work or personal projects. For example, you could have a Notebook for "Cooking Recipes", with sections for "breakfast, dinner, desserts", where individual recipes would be page entries (i.e. the "Desserts" section would have pages for brownies, chocolate cheesecake etc). If taking meeting minutes or notes at another calendar event, With a click (in the Windows version) you can import the appointment details (including a checklist of participants and a link back to the original calendar appointment). Actions from the Meeting can be tagged as ToDo items and you can create linked Outlook Tasks for your own actions. If you store your notebooks on OneDrive, or use a notebook created in a Microsoft Teams site, you can share the notes directly with any other Office365 users. I lead a customer success team of 10 and Airgram has been very helpful in transcribing our internal/customer calls. The transcription service they provide definitely shortens my time sorting notes after meetings. My personal experience: I reached out to their customer support team because we were out of meetings, they didn't have a paid plan yet so I was asking if I could pay for more. They responded quickly and have been enormously generous with their rewards (I received free recordings by answering a couple questions regarding my use scenarios) I understand that their product is still in beta phase and has some flaws, but they treat their customers very seriously and I hope that the product will keep getting better.
