As the power cord of this snow blower is only about 4' long, it is clear that you will need to buy an additional extension cable to be able to work with this machine. The manufacturer recommends either 100 or 150 feet cables, with the minimum wire gauge of 14 or 12 correspondingly. That will cost you another $75-$100. Keep in mind, that the thin, undersized cords starve the tool of voltage while the overly long cables cause excessive resistance and voltage drop. Therefore, an inappropriate power cable can damage the motor of this snow blower.
