This bookstand folds down into a thin standard-sized (10.25'' x 0.75'' x 7.75'') "book", so it can be stored beside the cookbooks or pretty much anywhere else. Everything clicks into place as you open it, there are no separate parts to adjust. See More
The plastic stand can break if an extremely heavy book will be put on it. The page holders get in the way of books thicker than 2''. However, they can be unscrewed and the springs removed to position the holders up and down manually as required. See More
The OXO Pop-up cookbook holder is made from sturdy plastic, fits most cookbooks and can be put away in a bookshelf when folded flat. It has a see-through plastic splatter guard and costs about 40% less than other holders with this feature. See More
If the cookbook is large or thick, the bottom part of the pages gets stuck in the stand. To turn the page you have to lift the book up. However, with smaller books, you can fold the splatter guard forward about halfway and turn the page. See More
This stand is easily adjustable to fit a book of any size. There are 4 slots in the weighted wooden base, 1 inch apart, for the separate acrylic back pane. The back pane can support a single sheet of paper as well as a heavy 4.5-inch cookbook. For taller books, the back support can be positioned vertically, and horizontal position is best for the smaller ones. This design also lets you adjust the book to get the most comfortable reading angle. See More
