The highs have just the right amount brightness yet are very revealing of the minute details of the audio. The mids are very clear and full, so vocals and midrange tones guitars and keys are very easy to appreciate. The bass has a touch of elevation to it yet does not become overpowering. While these headphones are not entirely accurate, the elevations to the sound are just enough that a fun sound is achieved without straying too far away from the original mix. The SE846 comes with two extra sound filters which you can swap the stock one to. There is a set of filters for a more bassy sound, and another set for a more treble-centric sound signature.
