Pros
Pro You can customize your characters to your play style
For Honor features an item/equipment system that will enable your character to do a number of things better (and worse - you generally must sacrifice in one area to gain in another). Equipment can be found after battle, as well as bought with the currency you earn from playing. It can then be upgraded even further, using parts from other equipment you break down for crafting purposes.
Not only can you make you character hit stronger, take less damage, tire more slowly, etc., the game also has a vanity system, meaning you can customize the look of your character using the equipment you find.
Pro Incredibly rewarding and satisfying combat
The combat in For Honor is completely skill-based. A skilled player is able to kill several enemies in a row without taking damage, or perhaps even at the same time.
The further your skills progress, the more noticeable you'll be on the battlefield. Your kill streaks will begin to rack up much more quickly, and your character will quickly gain levels in-game. This also leads to higher currency rewards after games, as well as better equipment.
Pro Excellent story, well rounded abilities and insane combos
Pro Hardcore difficulty mode
New to the series is a hardcore difficulty mode that is meant for only the most extreme players. This adds a level of difficulty to the game for those that are interested.
Pro New character with new gameplay mechanics
DMC 3 focuses on a new character, Dante's brother Vergil. Vergil offers a whole new moveset when compared to previous games, which makes the gameplay fresh for those that are familiar with the series.
Cons
Con Major connectivity issues
For Honor uses a peer-to-peer connection system for multiplayer, meaning that there's no dedicated servers. This can cause a ton of issues for many players.
Con Lacks widescreen support
The game only plays in 4:3, there is no widescreen support.
Con Terrible controller support
The default controls for the game with a controller do not work that well and will most likely require a third party fix.
Con It's practically impossible to play with mouse and keyboard
A keyboard binding exists, but it is impossibly complicated for anyone to use.
