MBS Comp 95 vs San Diego Speed 32"

Besides its standard version, the Comp 95 had an “X” version that comes with a braking system.

This board features the Matrix II channel truck system, one of the most advanced trucks from MBS. Its especially designed plastic truck top and CroMoly 12mm axles makes it light and, at the same time, very strong and solid. This enables riders to perform even the most extreme tricks with confidence.

This board's 95 cm length makes it very stable at high speeds, but compact enough for pulling off tricks.

For high comfort and stability, the Comp 95's deck has an asymmetrical concave shape, which puts less pressure on rider's heels and helps lock one's feet on the deck.

This baords deck uses a Powerlam layup that combines maple and fiberglass. The result is a flexible yet strong deck that allows the deck to withstand a lot of pressure when performing tricks and rail slides and eliminates worries about durability.

The binding's padding uses dual density memory foam, for increased comfort and durability.

Integrated heel strap mounts lets you add and remove heel straps quickly and conveniently.

This longboard uses F5 adjustable ratchet straps, with additional second level adjustment. This helps adjust the bindings precisely for each individual foot. Foot release is easy and quick, thanks to the cleverly designed ratchet buckle release.

This board's hubs are made from plastic and have fantastic durability, being second only to heavier, and more expensive, aluminum hubs.

The Comp 95 uses the ShockBlock suspension system, which is much lighter than traditional spring shocks. Additionally, it offers a very wide and independent heel and toe resistance adjustment range, so you can fine tune it for high speed carving or freestyle riding.

Thanks to the flat grinding surface on this board's axles, rail grinding is quite easy.

The 95cm length of the Comp 95's deck means it suitable both for teenagers and adults.

The center of the Comp 95' deck has an arched chamber, which adds stiffness and makes rail slides easier.

Even though this board's deck has a 30-degree angled tip, which is best suited for channel trucks, it’s possible to mount it with skate trucks.

Despite being a short board, you will find it’s flexible enough to absorb shock (from jumps, for example) and vibrations caused by riding in rough terrains.

The SDS 32'' is quite light and compact, when compared to other mountainboards, and can therefore be carried around easily. Like on skateboards, the grip tape covers the top of the board, so if you get tired of mountainboarding, you can take the bindings off and use it as an all-terrain longboard or a board for daily commutes.
