Snap Camera HDR vs Flickr

While this app is loaded with features, all of them are called for.

The interface starts with three different buttons (pictures, videos, settings) and each level umbrellas in order to access the huge amount of features.

While using the interface, there are many features that make operation simple. In order to access recent pictures from the camera, swipe left. In order to delete pictures, swipe left again. Tapping a photo reveals the effect menu. Pinching zooms in.

While taking a picture, the options include: HDR, flash, white balance, exposure, contrast, saturation, additional camera settings, burst mode, fast mode, front/back toggle, silent shutter, stable shot, panorama, self timer, and grid.

Additional settings include: picture and video size, scene mode,self timer, burst mode, time lapse, JPEG quality, effects, ISO, anti-banding, scene detection, video bitrate, and audio settings.

In order to start recording quickly, the record button is located on the first screen displayed.

This app is updated regularly.

Flickr has an app on Windows, OSX, iOS and Android, called Flickr Uploadr (available for download in the tools section) that can automatically upload images to Flickr. It can even pull images from external drives and other cloud storage services such as iCloud.

I mainly use Google Photos and keep separate local backup of all my photos, but also use the IOS app which transfers all new photos onto Flickr storage as well.

Flickr is capable of searching images by a combination of content, color, shape, depth of field, style, pattern, size, license and other options.

Flickr will automatically attempt to figure out the contents of a picture and tag them appropriately. This will allow you to look for, for example, all images of flowers, bridges or butterflies.
