Beer Buddy - Scanner & Ratings vs Password Safe

Whether or not the user has a Rate Beer account, they have access to most of the features, including rating a beer or place.

Beer Buddy uses Rate Beer's vast database of beers and user ratings, so the user knows they're getting reviews from real people.

There's no need to install a bar code scanner app to use this feature. Scan a beer's bar code, and the beer's information is available.

This app keeps track of the users reviews, quick "ticks", favorites, tasted, "On tap" (wants), recently viewed, recently scanned, and notes.

No ads, No tracking, No fees. 100% Open Source.

Anyone can review the code.

This does not save or synch with any server; no connection to any external server. There is no central server to hack, no network connection to sniff.

Password Safe has a portable versiona, PasswordSafe2Go.
There is also PasswordSafe for U3 (still supported, but no longer available).

Password Safe has an extremely robust file format in which multiple researches have not found a weakness.

Cross-platform.

Since the passwordSafe is essentially an open standard multiple people can use to develop apps. The pwsafe apps for Mac and iOS are really excellent (paid) management options.
