Blade comes with the GeForce GTX 970M graphics card with 3DMark's 1920x1080 Fire Strike Standard Graphics benchmarks showing a scores of 7440. As of March, 2015 it is the second best mobile graphics cards on the market. Still, it should be noted that the 980M is 20 to 30 percent faster than the 970M.
In the real world, GTX 970M allows running Evolve, Shadow of Mordor, Battlefield 4, on ultra at 51, 52, 55 fps on average respectively.
The laptop has a i7-4720HQ CPU with PassMark's score of 7,790. While still a strong performer, it should be noted that as of March, 2015 it's about 23% less performant than the top option.
Blade has 16 GB of RAM, more than enough for anything gaming related.
It can be set up to have 128GB or 256GB or 512GB SSD. Files read from SSD will load quicker as compared to a HDD so it's recommended for the operating system and software or games that are run regularly or can take advantage of the quicker load times.
