Hey, just a heads up that this question is in a state of flux, currently it does not rally work with the sites format and we are waiting to hear from the OP as to what they would like to do. So anything added currently may have to be removed depending on how the question title gets edited.

Hey just a heads up, this type of question doesn't really work the best with the site as there would really be no options to present. Normally question allow for different products/programs/OSs to be listed to be compared, for this particular question there would not really be a way to do that.

Maybe a question along the lines of "what are the best performing 32bit Linux OSs" could work for you, just let me know how we can help to come to a solution for you.

Really, just need a question that allows 32-bit and 64-bit to be comparable answers.

Perhaps re-phrasing it to "what are the best tools to benchmark a 32 vs 64 bit OS" or "what advantages do 64 bit OSs have that allow them to perform better than 32 bit OSs"

Let's see what the OP thinks will best help them and try to go with that. Thanks for the great ideas!
