The Kindle Voyage gradually changes screen brightness based on how bright or dark the reading conditions are. This enables users to read material in any environment from a dark room to outside in the sun. This feature can also be adjusted manually.
Some eReaders are now only touchscreen, meaning you have to touch the screen in order to turn a page in an eBook. With the physical page turn buttons on the Oasis, this is no longer an issue (for those that do not like touching the screen or just prefer physical buttons).
While the device does come with a case with extended battery (something older models did not and would add cost to the total package), the total price is pretty high when compared to other popular eReaders, even in the Kindle line.
