DuckDuckGo is seen by many as a good and anonymous search engine. And yes, it might be much better than the Googles and Bings out there. But it is still an US based search engine, with all possible complications of that connected to it. It's based on Chrome so it STILL connects to Google server's who will log your ip address on start-up. It's bloated with useless options and settings that take forever to look through. After any browsing session after you exit the app and use a cleaner tool [CCleaner or other] when you start the browser next time, all setting inclusive search engine and security-privacy related is reverted to default...
