The camera can shoot 14fps RAW without any limitations and 16fps with a locked up mirror. The buffer holds 170 RAW frames at 14fps while JPG buffer is unlimited.
In tests performed by Tony Northrup 1DX Mark II outperformed Nikon's D5 (by a slight margin of about 6%), D500 (by a margin of about 18%), and D7200 as well as Canon's 7D Mark II.
