Pros
Pro Clean and minimal UI
Safari has a very clean and minimal UI, smaller than even Chrome on macOS.
Cons
Con A safety risk, because it limits adblockers
Since Safari 13, the API for adblocking severely limited, so not all kinds of ads and trackers can be blocked. Also an adblocking extension needs to run as a separate app to update its filter lists. That is simply not acceptable, because attacks and malware injections are carried out through ad networks, and adblocking is the only defense against that.
Con Outdated Rendering engine
All other browsers and toolkits (Qt/GTK) have shifted to Googles Blink-fork of KHTML/Webkit so Apple is currently the only main contributor left.
