As long as your financial institutions are supported, Mint can pull in all your finance account information and investments into one convenient application. All your accounts and investments in one place it makes it easy to make a budget and track spending. See More
With real time access to all necessary financial institutions, Mint can help users stay on top of upcoming bills. The Mint app allows users to set reminders or alerts for upcoming bill due dates, unusual spending or overspending in a spending category. See More
Similar applications to Money Lover only offer a few details to add when inputting a new transaction but Money Lover offers a lot more besides the normal category and title. Money Lover allows you to add notes, contacts, a picture, location, and reminders. See More
The free version of Money Lover includes small banner advertisements at the bottom of the application. They aren't too intrusive but they can be annoying. Removing the advertisements is a $2.00 in app purchase. Getting the whole Money Lover experience requires an upgrade from the basic application to the premium application without advertisements and the ability to have more than one wallet, a budget plan, and an event plan for a $4.99 in app purchase. See More
This application gains more than the read only access of most finance tracking applications with the ability to pay bills right from the application. This may be a security concern for some people but the ability to pay bills all from one place is extremely convenient if your financial institution supports it. See More
Check takes two day to process the bill payment before it is paid. Check should help you stay on top of your bills so that you pay them early but if you don't you can make an express payment that pays in about 24 hours. Although the express payment costs $7 so it is best not to procrastinate. See More
The visuals and analytics in Check are not as useful as they are in applications such as Mint. There is no way to set up a budget and there are not many ways to better optimize your spending. Check is best at what it was designed to do from the beginning: bill paying. See More
I am using Spendee for a year now and it has helped me to know how much money and for what I spend last month. I am also using a shared wallet, which enables me to manage our family expenses, not only the personal one. It has a beautiful interface and it is really easy to use. I can only recommend it to everyone who is serious about money management. See More
Financius - Expense Manager is able to utilize multiple money accounts so the user can have their bank, credit card and online money accounts such as Paypal listed within the same app. the user is also able to record different currencies within these accounts. See More
Wallet - Budget Tracker allows for cloud syncing across devices and platform, meaning one can store data on their mobile device, sync it to then be able to browse that information on a web interface such as their laptop or desktop. Though, only manual sync is free as auto is part of a paid monthly package. See More
This app makes collecting my taxable expenses super easy. Love this app and their mileage tracker app as well. See More
Andrew Bakonski's Experience
Users can initially add all recurring incomes and expenses to have a rough estimate. If users forget to register occurrences for long period of time, that is not an issue as all that needs done is for the user to set their current amount and the app will adapt all of its charts and statistics. See More
BillGuard is "currently limited to US credit cards and debit cards only, but our goal is to protect everyone and every bill around the globe." But if you are really interested in using BillGuard in another country then you can request that the BillGuard developers prioritize your country here. See More
While other applications provide especially useful charts and graphs of income and spending, BillGuard's are somewhat basic and uninformative. The visuals consist of a simple pie chart of your spending for each month or each account and a line graph that shows the current month's transactions. See More
Many finance applications have this feature but BillGuard was designed to be first an applications that protects you against fraud and second finance tracker. BillGuard's data breach alert will send an alert if the application believes that a card's information has been hacked. Users can also help to report fraudulent charges to improve the service. If a gray charge is encountered, BillGuard will contact the merchant directly. See More
