It runs Rise of the Tomb Raider in 4K and at very high game settings at 61 fps. Far Cry 5 runs at 57 fps, under the same assumptions, while Battlefield 1 runs at 83 fps. When gaming on a Full HD screen(1080p), the card runs Rise of the Tomb Raider at 174 fps, Far Cry 5 at 118 fps and Battlefield 1 at 195 fps. When idling with the cooling system working, the cards temperatures reaches 30 degrees Celsius. When gaming with with the fans working at full speed, the temperatures reach 58 degrees. When fans are working in silent mode, the idle temperatures reach 35 degrees. While gaming, the same temperatures reach 72 degrees. The card is surprisingly quiet, taking into consideration its power and the three fans it uses to cool itself down. According to guru3d's tests, when idling, the cards noise levels reach 29 dba. This makes it one of the quietest cards out there for idling. When gaming, the noise levels reach 38 dba, again beating most of the graphics cards out there. In silent mode, the noise levels go as low as 32 dba under load, but this may increase the temperatures of the card. The card is extremely silent. It appears to be the case for the MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio as well. It can run older games at highest settings and on a 4K screen at a very decent fps. For example, GTA V runs at 84.8 fps. If you're playing on a 1080p screen, you can experience an fps of 187.5. The Witcher 3 runs at 67.6 fps on a 4K screen. The reference card runs the same game at 63.6 fps. GTX 1080 Ti runs the game at 58.5 fps. In 1080p resolution, the difference is more pronounced. This MSI model runs the game at 151 fps, while the GTX 1080 Ti reaches 128.8 fps. Rise of the Tomb Raider runs at 52.6 fps in 4K and at the highest settings. The MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio cannot run all games at an fps higher than 60, while gaming in 4K. The card can run Rise of the Tomb Raider at very high settings and in 4K at 54.4 fps. This is 2.4 fps higher than the reference card and 3 fps higher than the GTX 1080 Ti. The Witcher 3 runs in 4K at around 65 fps, while the GTX 1080 Ti gets you 58.5 fps. The card is great for 4K gaming. The card has average performance compared to the other RTX 2080 models. Being an RTX 2080, the card has enough power in it to run 4K games at a decent fps. In the 3DMark Timespy UHD test, the card scored 4762, 12 points over the reference model. But it beat the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti FE by more than 500 points. It can play Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 4K resolution at an average fps of 47. This is the same as for the reference card. It runs Far Cry 5 in 4K at an average fps of 57, again no higher than the reference card.
