Systemd shim

You can install a lot of software from Debian repos or elsewhere, with systemd dependencies present, but not using systemd as init. Best of both worlds.

You cannot remove the xfce desktop without messing up the system. You can add other ones though.

Wine doesn't work as well as in some other distros

Not a con for most people, not even me, but I did get Starcraft to install on another distro (with wine) and it doesn't on MX .

This is the most put together and polished feel of any systemd-free distros I've tested (Deuvan was a hot mess). I run it on all my work systems, personal system , and am thinking about migrating my CentOS server to it.
