The art style is very beautiful and shows off the glowing French Rivera in a vibrant pixelated form that gives a feeling of the lights and environment one would expect of such a location.

Unlike many games where "better" players can carry the group along, Monaco actually allows each player to feel like a hero when their character's skill benefits the group.

Monaco implements a line-of-sight system that many top-down games forgo. The lack of complete situational awareness keeps tensions high as you never know what could be around the next corner.

The soundtrack, by Grammy nominated composer Austin Wintory, is a Jazz themed composition that adapts to the situation that you are in, whether you are unnoticed or wreaking havoc and everything in between.

Co-op often descends into chaotic fun as people try to work together to complete the objectives while still trying to steal the most money and get the highest score.

For a game that requires excellent teamwork and relies on the social aspect for a large amount of the fun, the built-in Vo-Ip system is a huge help in improving the quality of co-op play.
