Pros
Pro Great for old computers
Trinity (KDE 3.5 fork) gives you a retro vibe (or flashback to Windows 98 look), and the customization limitations of KDE 3.5 are inherent in Trinity, but that is worth it to bring an old (really old) computer back to life. Used on a 32 bit version on an old Gateway laptop with 1 GB ram and a Pentium III processor made the computer completely usable again (not lightning fast, but fast enough to be totally usable).
